Why I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them, and be established in the present truth.

And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

If you put the brothers in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto you have attained.

Why I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.

But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great fight of afflictions;

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein you stand.

Yes, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

Moreover I will endeavor that you may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

This second letter, beloved, I now write to you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.

I have not written to you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

For the truth's sake, which dwells in us, and shall be with us for ever.

But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
