But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us by the will of God.

Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you.

If you put the brothers in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto you have attained.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
