I have written to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God stays in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.

Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.

And you have not his word abiding in you: for whom he has sent, him you believe not.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;

I know that you are Abraham's seed; but you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you.

Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, said the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked on, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I write to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.

For the truth's sake, which dwells in us, and shall be with us for ever.

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brothers came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth.

And have borne, and have patience, and for my name's sake have labored, and have not fainted.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God.
