Strengthen you the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

And shall say, Cast you up, cast you up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?

Because they ministered to them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up my hand against them, said the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

But if any man say to you, This is offered in sacrifice to idols, eat not for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof:

Conscience, I say, not your own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

For if any man see you which have knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

But when you sin so against the brothers, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. However, when ever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

For, brothers, you have been called to liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
