Psalm 90:5

Thou carry them away as with a flood. They are as a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up.

The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness of it is as the flower of the field.

Because all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as a flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower of it falls away,

As a dream from awakening, O LORD, when thou waken, thou will despise their form.

Who were snatched away before their time, whose foundation was poured out as a stream,

He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found. Yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

They are passed away as the swift ships, as the eagle that swoops on the prey.

Between morning and evening they are destroyed. They perish forever without any regarding it.

My dwelling is removed, and is carried away from me as a shepherd's tent. I have rolled up, like a weaver, my life. He will cut me off from the loom. From day even to night thou will make an end of me.

I quieted [myself] until morning. As a lion, so he breaks all my bones. From day even to night will thou make an end of me.

The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of LORD blows upon it. Surely the people is grass.
