Psalm 85:1

LORD, thou have been favorable to thy land. Thou have brought back the captivity of Jacob.

O that the salvation of Israel came out of Zion! When LORD brings back the captivity of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.

Thus says LORD: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling-places. And the city shall be built upon its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited after its own manner.

Therefore thus says lord LORD: Now I will bring back the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel. And I will be jealous for my holy name.

Will LORD cast off forever? And will he be favorable no more?

Then LORD was jealous for his land, and had pity on his people.

As the hart pants after the water brooks, so my soul pants after thee, O God.

Therefore thus says LORD: I have returned to Jerusalem with mercies. My house shall be built in it, says LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth over Jerusalem.

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember, and I will remember the land.

Thus says LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Yet again they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof when I shall bring again their captivity: LORD bless thee, O habitation of righteousness, O mountain of
