Remember thy congregation, which thou have gotten of old, which thou have redeemed to be the tribe of thine inheritance, [and] mount Zion, at which thou have dwelt.
Terror and dread falls upon them. By the greatness of thine arm they are as still as a stone, till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over whom thou have purchased.
And they sing a new song, saying, Thou are worthy to take the book and to open the seals of it, because thou were killed and purchased us from God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.
Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit placed you guardians, to tend the church of the Lord and God, which he purchased by his own blood.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the [heavenly] agent of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. And he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
And the ransomed of LORD shall return, and come with singing to Zion, and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy, [and] sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
And I prayed to LORD, and said, O lord LORD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, that thou have redeemed through thy greatness, that thou have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
