Thou rule the pride of the sea. When the waves of it arise, thou still them.

When therefore he said to them, I am he, they went backward and fell to the ground.

He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves of it are still.

Surely the inward thought of man shall praise thee, even the residue of inward thought will observe a festival to thee.

So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging.

But LORD sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken.

Forget not the voice of thine adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against thee ascends continually.

LORD reigns! He is clothed with majesty. LORD is clothed with strength; he has girded himself with it. The world also is established that it cannot be moved.

He has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding he has stretched out the heavens.

Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

And having said these things, he dismissed the assembly.
