For there is no faithfulness in their mouth. Their inward part is very wickedness. Their throat is an open sepulcher. With their tongue they deceive (LXX/NT).

And the Lord said to him, Now ye Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your interior is full of plundering and wickedness.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies.

Thou know my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before thee.

The way of the just is uprightness. Thou who are upright directs the path of the just.
