Psalm 18:20

LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me.

He who has clean hands, and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each man will receive his own payment according to his own labor.

so that thy charity may be in secret. And thy Father who sees in secret will himself reward thee in the open.

A wicked man earns deceitful wages, but he who sows righteousness [has] a sure reward.

so that men shall say, Truly there is a reward for the righteous man. Truly there is a God who judges in the earth.

For such a high priest is fitting for us, devout, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens.

Behold, LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation comes. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

But I said, I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity. Yet surely the justice [due] to me is with LORD, and my recompense with my God.

He will deliver [even] him who is not innocent. Yea, he shall be delivered through the cleanness of thy hands.

I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will encompass thine altar, O LORD,

Therefore LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

LORD shall judge the peoples. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.

O LORD my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands,

And he said to David, Thou are more righteous than I, for thou have rendered to me good, whereas I have rendered to thee evil.

Yea, he would have allured thee out of distress into a broad place, where there is no confinement, and that which is set on thy table would be full of fatness.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in distress. My eye wastes away with grief, [yea], my soul and my body.

Out of my distress I called upon LORD. LORD answered me upon a large place.
