Psalm 132:13

For LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.

But ye have come to mount Zion, and to the city of a living God, a heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of heavenly agents,

LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, at the mountain which God has desired for his abode? Yea, LORD will dwell [in it] forever.

What then shall [a man] answer the messengers of the nation? That LORD has founded Zion, and in her shall the afflicted of his people take refuge.

However I will not rend away all the kingdom, but I will give one tribe to thy son, for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.

For now I have chosen and hallowed this house, that my name may be there forever, and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

Whoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of LORD, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.

For he who makes inquiry for blood remembers them. He does not forget the cry of the poor.
