My soul faints for thy salvation. I hope in thy word.

My soul longs, yea, even faints for the courts of LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out to the living God.

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts. Enliven me in thy righteousness.

My flesh and my heart fails, [but] God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him that I am sick from love.

Thou are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in thy word.

Let thy tender mercies come to me that I may live, for thy law is my delight.

Those who fear thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hoped in thy word.

So I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in thy word.

My soul breaks for the longing that it has to thine ordinances at all times.

whom I, even I, shall see on my side, and my eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger. My heart is consumed within me.

Let thy loving kindnesses also come to me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I have hoped in thine ordinances.

I wait for LORD. My soul waits, and in his word do I hope,
