The proud have had me greatly in derision, [yet] I have not swerved from thy law.

My foot has held fast to his steps. I have kept his way, and not turned aside.

O LORD, thou have persuaded me, and I was persuaded. Thou are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I have become a laughing-stock all the day; everyone mocks me.

Many are my persecutors and my adversaries. I have not swerved from thy testimonies.

Our heart is not turned back, nor have our steps declined from thy way,

And the people had stood watching. And also the rulers with them sneered, saying, He saved others. He should save himself, if this is the Christ, the chosen of God.

He will not fail nor be discouraged till he has set justice in the earth. And in his name Gentiles will hope (LXX/NT).

and said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept greatly.

The proud have forged a lie against me. With my whole heart I will keep thy precepts.

I cling to thy testimonies. O LORD, put me not to shame.

Thou have rebuked the proud, who are cursed, who wander from thy commandments.
