I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD, and thy law is my delight.
I will delight myself in thy statutes. I will not forget thy word.
I rejoice at thy word, as he who finds great spoil.
I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
but his delight is in the law of LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
And I am constrained by the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, being far better.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.
My soul faints for thy salvation. I hope in thy word.
Let thy tender mercies come to me that I may live, for thy law is my delight.
Thy testimonies also are my delight [and] my counselors.
Truly my house is not so with God. Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure. For it is all my salvation, and all [my] desire, though he does not make it to grow.
I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him that I am sick from love.
Let thy loving kindnesses also come to me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
