He who refuses correction despises his own soul, but he who hearkens to reproof gets understanding.

Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as LORD has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

But Paul cried out in a great voice, saying, Do nothing harmful to thyself, for we are all here.
