The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way, but the wicked man shall fall by his own wickedness.

But when [the matter] came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he had devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walks upon the toils.

Wicked men shall be turned back to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God.

The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them, but the treacherous shall be taken in their own iniquity.

A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the actions of a man's hands shall be rendered to him.

An evil man is thrust down in his evil-doing, but a righteous man has hope in his death.

A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

If thou say, Behold, we did not know this, Does not he who weighs the hearts consider it? And he who keeps thy soul, does he not know it? And shall not he render to every man according to his work?

He who digs a pit shall fall in it, and he who rolls a stone, it shall return upon him.

For the day of LORD is near upon all the nations. As thou have done, it shall be done to thee. Thy dealing shall return upon thine own head.
