The memory of a righteous man is blessed, but the name of the wicked shall rot.

Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.


O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake thee shall be put to shame. Those who depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken LORD, the fountain of living waters.


And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent of the sepulchers of the sons of David. And all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem honored him at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.


The womb shall forget him. The worm shall feed sweetly on him. He shall be no more remembered. And unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree.


(The face of LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.)


A [good] name is rather to be chosen than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold.


And I will rise up against them, says LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and son's son, says LORD.


They cried, and LORD heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.


My enemies speak evil against me, [saying], When will he die, and his name perish?
