Now therefore, O our God, hearken to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for LORD's sake.
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and will proclaim the name of LORD before thee. I will be merciful to whom I may be merciful, and I will be compassionate to whomever I may be compassionate (LXX/NT).
[Ye say,] And now, I pray you, entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us; this has been by your means. Will he accept any of your persons? says LORD of hosts.
And he lifted up his eyes, and saw Benjamin his brother, his mother's son, and said, Is this your youngest brother, of whom ye spoke to me? And he said, God be gracious to thee, my son.
