While the flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, the anger of LORD was kindled against the people, and LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
And those who died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.
Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides those who died about the matter of Korah.
LORD will smite thee with the boil of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which thou cannot be healed.
though he spares it, and will not let it go, but keep it still within his mouth,
When he is about to fill his belly, [God] will cast the fierceness of his wrath upon him, and will rain it upon him while he is eating.
So they ate, and were well filled, and he gave them their own desire.
Thus Moses did. As LORD commanded him, so he did.
He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens, and by his power he guided the south wind.
