The voice of LORD cries to the city, and [the man of] wisdom will see thy name. Hear ye the rod, and who has appointed it.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

A prudent man sees the evil, and hides himself, but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.

He who is wise will give heed to these things, and they will consider the loving kindnesses of LORD.

that they may know that thou alone, whose name is LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.

As is thy name, O God, so is thy praise to the ends of the earth. Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a scant measure that is abominable?

For he performs that which is appointed for me. And many such things are with him.

And my eye shall not spare, nor will I have pity. I will bring upon thee according to thy ways. And thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee. And ye shall know that I, LORD, do smite.
