A man's pride shall bring him low, but he who is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honor.

He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely, he shall be delivered.

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and one servant girl came to him, saying, Thou also were with Jesus the Galilean.

And when he was gone out into the porch, another woman saw him, and says to them there, This man was also with Jesus the Nazarene.

But he denied him, saying, Woman, I do not know him.
