And having answered him, Peter said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come to thee on the waters.
Simon Peter therefore answered him, Lord, to whom will we go? Thou have sayings of eternal life.
For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to over think beyond what he ought to think, but to think so as to think soundly, as God has apportioned to each man a measure of faith.
Then having answered, Peter said to him, Lo, we have forsaken all, and followed thee. What then will be for us?
But he spoke more extreme, If I must die with thee, I will, no, not deny thee. And they all spoke the same way also.
But straightaway Jesus spoke to them, saying, Cheer up. It is I, fear not.
And he said, Come. And having come down from the boat, Peter walked upon the water to go to Jesus.
But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by wind and tossed about.
