Mark 14:8

A Conservative Version

She applied what she had to anoint my body. She did it beforehand for the burial.

For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable to the extent if some man has, not to the extent he does not have.

Jesus therefore said, Let her alone. She has keep it for the day of my burial.

And having taken it down, he wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulcher cut in rock, of which no man was yet lain.

And now having become evening, since it was the Preparation, that is, pre-Sabbath,

Thy people offer themselves willingly in the day of thy power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning thou have the dew of thy youth.

For by pouring this ointment upon my body, she did it for my burial.
