He shall not be afraid of evil tidings. His heart is fixed, trusting in LORD.

Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

For we must die, and are as water split on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again, neither does God take away life, but devises means that he who is banished be not an outcast from him.

Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, believe also in me.

And Herod the king having heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

For many will come in my name, saying, I am, and they will lead many astray.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginnings of travails.
