And Joshua said to the sons of Israel, How long are ye slack to go in to possess the land, which LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?

The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

And they said, Arise, and let us go up against them, for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good, and are ye idle? Be not slothful to go and to enter in to possess the land.

And having gone out about the eleventh hour, he found others who have stood idle. And he says to them, Why have ye stood here idle the whole day?

The way of the sluggard is as a hedge of thorns, but the path of the upright is made a highway.

He who works with a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not, O Zion. Let not thy hands be slack.

Work not for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give to you, for God the Father put a seal on this man.

Whatever thy hand finds to do, do with thy might, for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where thou go.

And seven tribes remained among the sons of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.

Appoint for you three men of each tribe. And I will send them, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and they shall come to me.

Be strong and of good courage, for thou shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years, and LORD said to him, Thou are old and well stricken in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.
