But thou, O LORD, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

LORD is gracious, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness.

For thou, LORD, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in loving kindness to all those who call upon thee.

Who is a God like to thee, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.

LORD relented concerning this. This also shall not be, says lord LORD.

Return, O LORD. How long? And relent concerning thy servants.

But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

O LORD, thou have persuaded me, and I was persuaded. Thou are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I have become a laughing-stock all the day; everyone mocks me.

For LORD thy God is a merciful God. He will not fail thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swore to them.

LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.

Now therefore amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of LORD your God, and LORD will relent of the evil that he has pronounced against you.

If ye will still abide in this land, then I will build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up, for I relent of the evil that I have done to you.

Who knows whether God will not turn and relent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we not perish?
