Then Jonah prayed to LORD his God out of the sea creatures belly.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Behold, he will kill me; I have no hope. Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him.
LORD, in trouble they have visited thee, they poured out a prayer [when] thy chastening was upon them.
And call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver thee, and thou shall glorify me.
Is any man among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise.
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.
And it shall be, that thou shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
