Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.
And straightaway the man became well, and took up his bed and walked. Now it was Sabbath on that day.
And because of this the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these things on a Sabbath.
And it came to pass, when he went into the house of a certain man of the chiefs of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread, that they were watching him.
And it came to pass, that he was passing through the grain fields on the Sabbath day, and his disciples began to make a path while plucking the ears.
Having said these things, he spat toward the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and rubbed the clay on the eyes of the blind man.
They brought him to the Pharisees--the former blind man.
