John 15:2

A Conservative Version

Every branch in me not bearing fruit, he removes it. And every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, so that it may bear more fruit.

And even now the axe is laid at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore not producing good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

But having answered, he said, Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant, will be uprooted.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

By this my Father is glorified, that ye may bear much fruit, and ye will become my disciples.

For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever has not, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Whose winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. And he will gather his wheat into the storehouse, but he will burn the chaff with unquenchable fire.

And having seen a fig tree, one on the way, he came to it, and found nothing on it, except leaves only. And he says to it, Let fruit no longer be produced from thee into the age. And immediately the fig tree dried out.

Yet the righteous shall hold on his way. And he who has clean hands shall grow stronger and stronger.

Looking carefully lest any man fall short, away from the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness sprouting up would cause trouble, and by this many may be defiled,

Ye did not choose out me, but I chose out you, and appointed you, so that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit may remain, so that anything whatever ye may ask of the Father in my name, he may give you.

And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. And these have no root, who believe for a time, and withdraw in time of trial.

And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver. And they shall offer to LORD offerings in righteousness.

They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have continued with us, but--so that they might be made known, that they are not all of us.

who gave himself for us, so that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a special people, a zealot of good works.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of heavenly agents, but have not love, I have become sounding brass, or a clashing cymbal.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, who are the called according to purpose.

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. Whom thou gave to me, I kept, and none of them was destroyed, except the son of destruction, so that the scripture might be fulfilled.

But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.

He spoke another parable to them. The kingdom of the heavens is like leaven, which having taken, a woman hid in three measures of meal until it was all leavened.

And let us know, let us follow on to know LORD. His going forth is sure as the morning, and he will come to us as the rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.

The meek also shall increase their joy in LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob shall be forgiven. And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten apart, [so that] the Asherim and the sun-images s

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age. They shall be full of sap and green

And some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for the time appointed.

Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.

For to every man who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away from him.

And these are those that were sown upon the good ground, who hear the word and receive it, and bear fruit, one thirty, and one sixty, and one a hundred.

I am the TRUE grapevine, and my Father is the farmer.

Now ye are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

If any man does not dwell in me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered. And they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and are burned.

And if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and became a joint partaker of the root of the fatness of the olive tree,

Behold therefore the goodness and the severity of God. Indeed toward those who fell, severity, but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness, otherwise thou too will be cut off.
