If he is destroyed from his place, then it shall deny him, [saying], I have not seen thee.
He shall return no more to his house, nor shall his place know him any more.
But I passed by, and, lo, he was not. Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
The eye of him who sees me shall behold me no more. Thine eyes shall be upon me, but I shall not be.
When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed forever,
For yet a little while, and the wicked man shall not be. Yea, thou shall diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.
The eye which saw him shall see him no more, neither shall his place any more behold him.
His roots are wrapped around the [stone] heap. He beholds the place of stones.
yet he shall perish forever like his own dung. Those who have seen him shall say, Where is he?
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof shall know it no more.
