Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your reasonings, while ye searched out what to say.
The rich man is wise in his own conceit, but a poor man who has understanding searches him out.
He who pleads his case first [seems] just, but his neighbor comes and searches him out.
Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job, because they were older than he.
And they waited for me as for the rain. And they opened their mouth wide [as] for the latter rain.
To me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence for my counsel.
Lo this, we have searched it, so it is. Hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
Therefore I said, Hearken to me, I also will show my opinion.
Yea, I attended to you. And, behold, there was none who convinced Job, or who answered his words among you.
