The morsel which thou have eaten thou shall vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

His sons shall seek the favor of the poor, and his hands shall give back his wealth.

yet his food in his bowels is turned. It is the gall of asps within him.

That which he labored for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down. According to the substance that he has gotten, he shall not rejoice.

Because he knew no quietness within him, he shall not save any of that in which he delights.

Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me. He has crushed me. He has made me an empty vessel. He has, like a monster, swallowed me up. He has filled his stomach with my delicacies. He has cast me out.

Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him who increases that which is not his (how long?) and who loads himself with pledges!

And I will execute judgment upon Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up. And the nations shall not flow any more to him. Yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
