Make sharp the arrows. Hold firm the shields. LORD has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it. For it is the vengeance of LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Woe to him who gets an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil!
