Thou said, Woe is me now! For LORD has added sorrow to my pain. I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.

And let us not be weary doing good, for in our own time we will reap, not desponding.

Therefore we are not discouraged, but even if the outer man of us is perishing, yet the inner man is renewed day by day.

Because of this (having this ministry), in as much as we received mercy, we do not become discouraged.

But ye, brothers, do not become weary doing good.

For though he causes grief, yet he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

Let all their wickedness come before thee, and do to them, as thou have done to me for all my transgressions. For my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

From on high he has sent fire into my bones, and it prevails against them. He has spread a net for my feet. He has turned me back. He has made me desolate and faint all the day.

Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

Oh that I could comfort myself against sorrow! My heart is faint within me.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

I am weary with my crying. My throat is dried. My eyes fail while I wait for my God.

Deep calls to deep at the noise of thy waterfalls. All thy waves and thy billows have gone over me.

I believe that I shall see the goodness of LORD in the land of the living.

I am weary with my groaning. Every night I make my bed to swim. I water my couch with my tears.

Even today my complaint is rebellious. My stroke is heavier than my groaning.

Thus says LORD, the God of Israel, to thee, O Baruch:

My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
