Jeremiah 33:25

A Conservative Version

Thus says LORD: If my covenant of day and night [stand] not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,

Thus says LORD: If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there shall not be day and night in their season,

He appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows his going down.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth,

They abide this day according to thine ordinances, for all things are thy servants.

He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which shall not pass away.
