And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides into the age.

For my days consume away like smoke, and my bones are burned as a firebrand.

Man is like vanity. His days are as a shadow that passes away.

Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou know not what a day may bring forth.

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils, for how is he to be accounted of?

And Barzillai said to the king, How many are the days of the years of my life that I should go up with the king to Jerusalem?
