We have become as those over whom thou never bore rule, as those who were not called by thy name.

Why should thou be as a man frightened, as a mighty man who cannot save? Yet thou, O LORD, are in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name. Do not leave us.

And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou are called by the name of LORD, and they shall be afraid of thee.

LORD, when thou went forth out of Seir, when thou marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens also dropped, yea, the clouds dropped water.

The mountains quaked at the presence of LORD, even yon Sinai at the presence of LORD, the God of Israel.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.

And he rode upon a cherub, and flew. Yea, he soared upon the wings of the wind.

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear. Open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name. For we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies' sak

O LORD, hear. O LORD, forgive. O LORD, hearken and do. Defer not, for thine own sake, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
