There are many devices in a man's heart, but the counsel of LORD, that shall stand.

The counsel of LORD stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Yea, since the day was I am he, and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?

Declare ye, and bring [it] forth. Yea, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Have not I, LORD? And there is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is none

LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,

O LORD, thou are my God. I will exalt thee. I will praise thy name. For thou have done wonderful things, [even] counsels of old, in faithfulness [and] truth.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God shall stand forever.

Who has wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, LORD, the first, and with the last, I am he.

I have declared the former things from of old. Yea, they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.

Assemble yourselves, all ye, and hear: Who among them has declared these things? He whom LORD loves shall perform his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm, the Chaldeans.

Yet it pleased LORD to bruise him. He has put him to grief. When thou shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed. He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of LORD shall prosper in his hand.

so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please. And it shall prosper in the thing to which I sent it.

And those who escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, few in number. And all the remnant of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose word shall stand, min

Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of rebuke. I have made known that which shall surely be among the tribes of Israel.

But he is in one [mind], and who can turn him? And what his soul desires, even that he does.

Therefore it shall come to pass, that, when LORD has performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

Produce your case, says LORD. Bring forth your strong reasons, says the King of Jacob.

Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says lord LORD. This is the day of which I have spoken.
