Hebrews 12:8

A Conservative Version

And if ye are without chastening, of which all have become participants, then ye are bastards, and not sons.

For whom Lord loves he chastens. And he whips every son whom he receives.

Surely God is good to Israel, to such as are pure in heart.

But when we are judged by Lord, we are chastened so that we may not be condemned with the world.
