So he fled with all that he had. And he rose up, and passed over the River, and set his face toward the mountain of Gilead.

Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it. And Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel [Tigris]. That is it which goes in front of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

And Jacob slipped away unawares to Laban the Syrian, in that he did not tell him that he fled.

And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob had fled.

Then they came to Gilead, and to the land of Tahtim-hodshi. And they came to Dan-jaan, and round about to Sidon,
