A Conservative Version

The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot came to Zoar.

Hasten thee, escape there, for I cannot do anything till thou have come there. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Then LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from LORD out of heaven.

And the sun rose upon him as he passed over Penuel [Peniel], and he limped upon his thigh.
