Thus says lord LORD: Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas! because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

For I am LORD. I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed. It shall be no more deferred. For in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word, and will perform it, says lord LORD.

Thus my anger shall be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I shall be comforted. And they shall know that I, LORD, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath upon them.

Can thy heart endure, or can thy hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I, LORD, have spoken it, and will do it.
