A Conservative Version

For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents, but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

Ye are of God, little children, and ye have overcome them, because greater is he in you than he in the world.

And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

But they will not advance in much more, for their folly will be evident to all men, as also that of those men came to be.

Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. And they also, the magicians of Egypt, did in like manner with their enchantments.

And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not hearken to them, as LORD had spoken.
