and I have said to thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me, and thou have refused to let him go. Behold, I will slay thy son, thy first-born.

and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh who sits upon his throne, even to the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill, and all the first-born of cattle.

And LORD spoke to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus says LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

And LORD said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh. Lo, he comes forth to the water. And say to him, Thus says LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

Then LORD said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus says LORD, the God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

And LORD said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus says LORD, the God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus says LORD, the God of the Hebrews, How long will thou refuse to humble thyself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.

And Moses told his father-in-law all that LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how LORD delivered them.

to him who smote Egypt in their firstborn, for his loving kindness [is] forever,

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.

And they shall hearken to thy voice. And thou shall come, thou and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and ye shall say to him, LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. And now let us go, we pray thee, three days' jou

And LORD said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

And they did so. And Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth. And there were lice upon man, and upon beast; all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

For if thou refuse to let them go, and will still hold them,

Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into thy border.

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that LORD slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to LORD all that opens the womb, being
