Thou shall not make to thee a graven image, nor any likeness [of anything] that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Ye shall make for you no idols. Neither shall ye rear up for you a graven image, or a pillar. Neither shall ye place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it. For I am LORD your God.
