Yea, though he lives a thousand years twice told, and yet enjoys no good, do not all go to one place?

All go to one place. All are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

And inasmuch as it is reserved to men once to die, and after this, judgment,

For I know that thou will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited.

They shall not build, and another inhabit. They shall not plant, and another eat. For as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days. For the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.

and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

If a man begets a hundred sons, and lives many years so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not filled with good, and moreover he has no burial, I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.

What man is he who desires life, and loves [many] days, that he may see good?

O remember that my life is a breath. My eye shall no more see good.

And he said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there. LORD gave, and LORD has taken away, blessed be the name of LORD.

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

The wise man's eyes are in his head, and the fool walks in darkness. And yet I perceived that one event happens to them all.

Moreover it has not seen the sun nor known it, this [one] has rest rather than the other.

It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting. For that is the end of all men, and the living will lay it to his heart.

All things come alike to all. There is one event to the righteous man and to the wicked man, to the good man and to the clean man and to the unclean man, to him who sacrifices and to him who does not sacrifice, as is the good man,
