Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in fear of God.

And flee juvenile impulses, but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.

His bones are full of his youth, but it shall lie down with him in the dust.

For thou write bitter things against me, and make me to inherit the iniquities of my youth.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. According to thy loving kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, [but] the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

But vain man is void of understanding. Yea, man is born [as] a wild donkey's colt.

Surely every man walks in a shadow. Surely they are disquieted in vain. He heaps up, and knows not who shall gather them.
