Deuteronomy 32:21

A Conservative Version

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities, and I will move them to jealousy with a non-nation. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

But I say, did Israel, no, not know? First Moses says, I will provoke you to jealousy toward a non-nation. Toward a foolish nation, I will make you angry.

I hate those who regard lying vanities, but I trust in LORD.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
