But now ye also, put off all these things: anger, wrath, wickedness, reviling, filthy speaking out of your mouth.

Let no corrupt speech go out of your mouth, rather if there is any good word for edification of a need, so that it may give grace to those who hear.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Fret not thyself, [it tends] only to evil-doing.

But if ye bite and devour each other, watch out that ye be not consumed by each other.

Let us walk decently as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in beddings and wantonness, not in strife and envy.

The beginning of strife is [like] letting out water. Therefore leave off contention, before there is quarrelling.

Nevertheless in the same way also these men who dream, indeed defile flesh, and reject lordship, and speak evil of dignities.

For, uttering swollen things of vanity, they entice (to sensuality by lusts of flesh) those who actually escaped from those who live in error,

Do they not blaspheme the good name that was called upon you?
