And upon the first day of the week, the disciples having come together to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, intending to depart on the morrow. And he prolonged his speech until midnight.

Upon the first day of the week let each of you set something aside near himself, storing up whatever he may prosper, so that when I come no collections may be made then.

And they were continuing steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and the prayers.

The cup of the blessing that we bless, is it not a participation of the blood of the Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation of the body of the Christ?

And continuing steadfastly, daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of nourishment in gladness and evenness of heart,

Now having risen early morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

And after he saw the vision, straightaway we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that the Lord called us to preach the good-news to them.

These men, who went ahead, awaited us at Troas.
